… The Runkle Volleyball Squad has made the playoffs and have a semifinal match this Monday after school at Brookline High School.  We encourage you to come out and root on our team!  Congratulations to all the students and coaches (Samantha Levine, Darlyn Noel) for their successes thus far, and best of luck on Monday .  GO RUNKLE!

… the main lobby was alive with individual and small-group student musical performances before and after school. Thursday’s Art Gallery Night was a wonderful celebration, with students’ sharing their pieces and explaining their processes, while classical music was being performed throughout the night by Runkle students. … Wednesday , from 5 to 7 pm .  The Book Fair is also open for 15 minutes before and 30 minutes after school each day Monday through Thursday .  While there is an online option as well for the week ( www.portersquarebooks.com (http://www NULL.portersquarebooks NULL.com) ; enter “Runkle School” in comment field), nothing beats the in-person experience!  Thank you to Teresa Gallo-Toth and the parent volunteers who make this Fair such a success for the Runkle community.

…  With the warmer weather and increased daylight, we are seeing more students on the playground after school.  Please know that Runkle School does not provide supervision for the playground after 2:30/1:40.  Parents should be aware of some of our safety guidelines for the playground, which I don’t always see being followed after school!   Specifically, students should go down all slides feet first, on their bottoms, and one at a time (no trains).  Also, with the tire swing, students …
