Apply for a Grant
PTO Grant Applications Wanted!
Do you have a great idea you’d like to see come to life at school? Do you need money to get started? If you have a great idea for a project and need funding, you are invited to fill out the PTO Grant form below (or download a copy to submit to the main office on paper, or to email to PTO Grant Committee Chair Mini Kolluri (minikolluri null@null yahoo NULL.com)).
PTO Grants:
- will be awarded in amounts from $100 to $1,000
- may be applied for by teachers and parents
- must be for programs, events or materials that directly benefit Runkle students
- must benefit a group of students – not an individual
- must be used in the school year in which they are awarded
- may not be used for teacher training or education
- must not be currently supported by the PTO or school budget
- are one-time grants and will not carry over into future years
Grants should benefit the Runkle community; both parents and staff may apply. Previous grants have included: visiting educator programs from the Museum of Science, proscope microscopes, a middle school Scrabble tournament, and video cameras for in-school projects. Apply now! Questions: contact Mini Kolluri at minikolluri@yahoo.com (minikolluri null@null yahoo NULL.com) or call 617-383-5269.
