Fall applications for PTO Parent-Teacher Grants are due October 23rd, 2009. PTO Grants are intended to fund new ideas or projects between $75 and $1000 that have no other means of support. Past grants have supported traveling Museum of Science shows, Proscope microscopes, a Scrabble tournament, etc.
We are very excited to announce that 199 Runkle families–a record 57% of the community–donated to the Annual Fund this year bringing in a total of $65,019. Drop off gently used cleats or shin guards in boxes in the Runkle main lobby on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, between 7:45 and 8 am and 2:10 and 2:30 pm. A parent volunteer will give you a receipt for each pair of cleats or shin guards.
