18-18-1We hope that you spent the snow days warm. Although the weather is bitterly cold outside the warmth of love from the Runkle community and students are a comfort. We learned about the passing of our beloved faithful crossing guard, John Kilgallon, who was always kind, helpful, and welcoming to our families as they came to school for pickups and drop-offs. The PTO and Runkle staff have began putting together donations and ways to show their condolences to honor his legacy. It is in times like these that we recognize and appreciate the beauty that each person adds to the Runkle family. Please view the link for John Kilgallon’s obituary, Honoring John Kilgallon (http://www NULL.legacy NULL.aspx?pid=187618809).

We had a great short week back of learning. January is a very busy month for the PTO. We hope that you take advantage of the wealth of information and events that are scheduled to enhance our children’s learning experience and improve and celebrate the Runkle spirit and community.

2018’s first PTO Meeting is Tuesday at 8:05am in the cafeteria. Coffee and refreshments will be served. We will have a monthly update from Principal Jean-Michel and will be discussing upcoming important events, meetings, and sharing information that was shared from the Brookline District. Important links to view:
