Dear RUNKLE Families,

What a great week at Runkle, it looked like everyone enjoyed the Annual Halloween Fair! Jen Reed and Karla Schallies organized an amazing crew to pull off this event which truly showcases the best of the Runkle community. A special thank you to the 100+ volunteers and to all of the families, teachers and staff who attended. We hope you enjoyed the evening and made a few new friends. Thank you again to Jen and Karla!

This year Runkle families collected more food than ever for the Brookline Food Pantry, so thank YOU for your donations. The Food Pantry serves over 630 families and 300 elderly in Brookline. Thank you to Josie Petersen and Leigha Cuniberti for organizing this PTO sponsored community service; and thanks as well to the 7/8th graders who helped carry food and to all 26 Runklers who joined in the walk to bring our donations to the Food Pantry and help sort it when we got there. It was a beautiful day for the food parade!

We are almost to 400 students in the directory! If you have not registered please take the time this week to check that off your list!

Sincerely,

Runkle PTO co-chairs Dorothy Charles, Amy Bacon and Sharon Brockmann
