Runkle PTO Astronomy Night at the Clay Center Observatory
Fri., April. 15 6:15 -8:30 p.m.

The specially designed program for 4th graders is a fabulous educational experience that you won’t want to miss.  The event is at the Clay Center Observatory at the Dexter School (20 Newton Street, Brookline),Friday, April 15th.
An astronomy show presented by “Galileo” will start promptly at 6:30 p.m., followed by rotation thru 3 hands-on science and astronomy stations at the Observatory and Planetarium.  Weather permitting, we will use the Clay Center’s research-grade main telescope and multiple smaller scopes to view the moon, Saturn’s rings, and more.  Program ends at 8:30pm.

We are inviting 4th grade students to sign up first by going to: (https://docs  Students must be accompanied by an adult; however, please no more than one adult per child.  If you can, please make arrangements for one adult to accompany 1-3 students, which will leave more space for students.  The Clay Center requests that younger children not attend as the program is not designed for their age group. 

Confirmation emails will be sent at the end of the week/weekend, and tickets will be issued at the door on the day of the event.
