Drop off gently used cleats or shin guards in boxes in the Runkle main lobby on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, between 7:45 and 8 am and 2:10 and 2:30 pm. A parent volunteer will give you a receipt for each pair of cleats or shin guards.
For those with receipts: Select an exchange pair on Wednesday, April 8, between 7:45 and 8 am and 2:10 and 2:45 pm.
For those without a receipts, purchase a pair(s) on Thursday, April 9, between 7:45 and 8 am and 2:10 and 2:45 pm. Cleats available for$8 and shin guards for $2. (Receipt holders may still select cleats or shin guards for free.)
On Tues, April 14 between 2:20-3:00pm, leftover cleats and shin guards from ALL the Brookline schools will be gathered at Runkle for exchange with a receipt or for cash. Leftover equipment will be donated to a Boston soccer program for disadvantaged youth. Money raised goes to the Brookline youth soccer scholarship fund.
Be kind to our volunteers! Please clean mud from the cleats and shin guards. Please tie cleat laces loosely to keep pairs together. Tape shin guards together.
